Crawl Budget: What It Is and When You Should Care
Most small and medium sites never need to think about crawl budget. Large or fast-changing sites do. Here is how Google decides how much to crawl and how to stop wasting it.

This is my technical SEO audit checklist. I run it before content or link work, because nothing else helps if Google cannot crawl and index your pages. It is part of my technical SEO service; for a quick automatic check use the free SEO audit.
A technical SEO audit checks whether search engines can crawl, render, index and understand your site. Work in six steps: crawlability, indexing, site structure and URLs, speed and Core Web Vitals, mobile and rendering, and structured data and security. Fix blocking issues first (noindex, robots.txt, server errors), then everything that wastes crawls or slows pages.

<a href> tags.noindex on important pages.| Priority | Issue type |
|---|---|
| Critical | Noindex or robots blocks on key pages, server errors, manual actions |
| High | Canonical mistakes, redirect chains, failing Core Web Vitals on key templates |
| Medium | Orphan pages, thin duplicates, missing schema |
| Low | Minor HTML warnings, cosmetic issues |
I audit and fix speed, Core Web Vitals, indexing, redirects and schema, and send you a clear report of every change.
A review of how well search engines can crawl, render, index and understand your site, with a prioritised list of fixes.
A full audit every 6 to 12 months, and a quick check of Search Console reports every month.
Indexing issues: pages blocked, noindexed by mistake, duplicated or not considered worth indexing.
Yes, with Search Console, a crawler and this checklist. Complex sites benefit from an expert review.
A small site can be audited in a day; large sites can take a week or more.
