Conversion Rate Calculator
A conversion rate calculator is a tool that shows what percentage of visitors complete a goal such as a sale,…
Estimate the monthly and daily ad budget you need and the leads it should bring.
Daily budget uses 30.4 days, the average month length Google Ads uses for its monthly spend limit.

The free ppc budget calculator runs in your browser, needs no sign-up and never sends what you type anywhere.
A PPC budget calculator multiplies target clicks by average CPC. 1,500 clicks at $2.40 needs a $3,600 monthly budget, about $118 a day using the 30.4 days Google Ads uses for a month. Expected leads = clicks × conversion rate, so a 4% rate gives 60 leads at $60 each.
A PPC budget calculator is a tool that turns traffic goals into an ad budget. Monthly budget = target clicks × average CPC, daily budget = monthly budget ÷ 30.4, leads = clicks × conversion rate and cost per lead = budget ÷ leads.

Monthly PPC budget = target clicks × average CPC, so 1,000 clicks at $2 needs $2,000. Divide by 30.4 for the daily budget, because Google Ads caps monthly spend at 30.4 times the average daily budget for most campaigns, as its daily budget guide explains.
Divide the lead goal by your conversion rate to get clicks, then multiply by CPC: 50 leads at a 5% rate needs 1,000 clicks, and at a $3 CPC that is $3,000 a month. Use the target leads field to calculate this automatically.
Google Ads can spend more than the average daily budget on busy days, but over a month you are not charged more than 30.4 times the average daily budget for most campaigns. Plan with the monthly total, not one day.
| Target clicks | Avg CPC | Monthly budget |
|---|---|---|
| 500 | $1.20 | $600 |
| 1,000 | $2.00 | $2,000 |
| 1,500 | $2.40 | $3,600 |
| 3,000 | $3.50 | $10,500 |
| 5,000 | $1.80 | $9,000 |
Example: a law firm wants 1,500 clicks a month at an average CPC of $2.40. Budget = 1,500 × 2.40 = $3,600 a month, or 3,600 ÷ 30.4 = $118.42 a day. At a 4% conversion rate that is 60 leads, a cost per lead of $60, and if each lead is worth $150, $9,000 in lead value (250% ROAS).
A PPC budget is the amount you plan to spend on pay per click advertising in a period, usually a month. Platforms such as Google Ads use an average daily budget, so you set the monthly plan and divide it by 30.4.
Use Google Keyword Planner for estimated top of page bid ranges, or your own Google Ads reports for actual average CPC. Use figures for the same country, language and match types you plan to target.
Use your own landing page conversion rate from past campaigns if you have it. If not, start with a cautious estimate, run a small test budget for a few weeks, then update the calculator with the real rate.
Start with enough budget to get meaningful data, often a few hundred clicks a month on your main keywords. Then scale spend on campaigns where cost per lead is below what a lead is worth to you.
Cost per lead is ad spend divided by the number of leads. If $3,600 brings 60 leads, cost per lead is $60. Compare it with how much a lead is worth after your close rate to judge profitability.
Many businesses use PPC for quick, controllable traffic while SEO builds long term organic visibility. PPC data on converting keywords can also guide which topics to target with SEO, so the two often work well together.
