Article Schema Generator
An article schema generator is a tool that writes schema.org Article structured data in JSON-LD. It collects…
Create Person JSON-LD for author bios and personal brand pages, with optional ProfilePage.
JSON-LD code
Use the same name, photo and bio that appear on the page. Do not add personal details you would not show publicly.

The free person schema generator runs in your browser, needs no sign-up and never sends what you type anywhere.
This person schema generator creates Person JSON-LD, optionally wrapped in ProfilePage, from a name, job title, employer, photo, bio and sameAs links. Google's profile page markup requires mainEntity with a name; image, description, sameAs and dates are recommended. Use it on author pages and About me pages, then link to that page from article author.url.
A person schema generator is a tool that writes schema.org Person structured data. It describes who someone is (name, job title, employer), how to recognise them (photo, bio) and where else they appear online (sameAs), so search engines can connect their content to one entity.

Not for Person alone. Google documents ProfilePage markup, where the main entity is a Person or Organization, for profile, author and About me pages. See Google's profile page structured data guide. Person data also helps Google understand authors linked from articles.
Only mainEntity is required, and it must be a Person or Organization with a name (or alternateName). Google recommends dateCreated, dateModified, alternateName, description, identifier, image and sameAs where available.
It does not add a ranking score by itself. It makes it easy for search engines to connect an author with their bio, photo and profiles across the web. Real experience shown on the page is what builds trust.
| Property | Use | Example |
|---|---|---|
| name | Required in ProfilePage | Zahid Awais |
| jobTitle | Role, kept out of the name | SEO Expert |
| worksFor | Employer or own brand | Organization with url |
| image | Recommended photo | Headshot URL |
| sameAs | Recommended profiles | LinkedIn URL |
| dateModified | Recommended on ProfilePage | 2026-10-08 |
Example: an SEO consultant enters his name, job title SEO Expert and Link Building Specialist, his site as employer, a photo, a two line bio and two profile URLs. The tool outputs a ProfilePage with a Person as mainEntity, 1 of 1 required and 5 of 5 recommended properties filled.
Put it on the page that is about the person: an author page, an About me page or a team member page. For articles, reference the author by name and link author.url to that profile page rather than repeating the full bio everywhere.
Use ProfilePage when the whole page is about one person, because that is the format Google documents. Use plain Person when describing someone inside other markup, such as an article author or an event performer.
Add URLs of profiles that clearly belong to the same person, such as LinkedIn, an X account, a Wikipedia page or a published author bio on another site. Skip private or unrelated pages.
You can, using email and telephone, but only add contact details you already show publicly on the page. Structured data is visible to anyone who views the source code.
No markup guarantees a knowledge panel. Consistent details across your site and well known profiles help search engines recognise you as an entity, which can contribute over time.
Run the page URL through Google's Rich Results Test, which reports ProfilePage markup, then use the Schema Markup Validator to check every Person property is read correctly.
