Robots.txt Generator
A robots.txt generator is a tool that writes the plain text file crawlers read at the root of your site…
Create and validate your ads.txt file for AdSense, Ad Manager and other ad partners in seconds.

The free ads.txt generator runs in your browser, needs no sign-up and never sends what you type anywhere.
This ads.txt generator builds the Authorized Digital Sellers file that lists who may sell your ad inventory. Each line holds the ad system domain, your publisher account ID, DIRECT or RESELLER, and an optional certification ID. Rule of thumb: copy lines exactly from each partner, host the file at your root domain and keep it updated.
An ads.txt generator is a tool that writes and checks the plain text file defined by the IAB Tech Lab ads.txt specification. It formats each record as domain, account ID, relationship and certification authority ID separated by commas, validates the relationship values and Google publisher ID format, removes duplicates and adds optional variables such as OWNERDOMAIN and CONTACT.

The AdSense line is google.com, pub-0000000000000000, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0, with the zeros replaced by your own 16 digit publisher ID. You can copy it from the Ads.txt section of your AdSense account. Google explains the setup in its AdSense ads.txt guide.
AdSense usually picks up ads.txt changes within a few days, but sites with low ad request volume can take up to a month. Once the status shows as authorized, ads may take up to an hour to appear. Make sure the file is reachable at the root of your domain.
DIRECT means you, the publisher, control the account named in that line, as with your own AdSense account. RESELLER means another company is authorized to sell your inventory through its account, as with header bidding partners. Use the value your partner gives you.
| Field | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Ad system domain | google.com | Domain of the advertising system |
| 2. Account ID | pub-1234567890123456 | Your publisher ID in that system |
| 3. Relationship | DIRECT or RESELLER | DIRECT if you control the account |
| 4. Certification ID | f08c47fec0942fa0 | Optional TAG ID; required in Google lines as provided |
| Variable | OWNERDOMAIN=example.com | Ads.txt 1.1 variables for owner, manager and contact |
Example: a blog using AdSense plus one header bidding partner adds google.com, pub-1234567890123456, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0 and the partner's RESELLER line, plus OWNERDOMAIN=example.com. The tool outputs 2 valid records and 1 variable, flags nothing, and the file is ready to upload as /ads.txt.
Upload ads.txt to the root of your domain so it loads at https://example.com/ads.txt. On WordPress you can upload it with FTP or your hosting file manager, or use a plugin that serves it. A file inside a subfolder will not be found.
It is strongly recommended. Without ads.txt, AdSense shows a warning and buyers may avoid unverified inventory, which can lower your earnings. Adding the correct line helps advertisers trust that ads on your site are sold by you.
Yes. Any text after a # is a comment and is ignored by crawlers. Comments are useful for noting which partner each block belongs to and when it was added. This tool keeps comment lines you paste.
They are variables added in ads.txt 1.1. OWNERDOMAIN names the business domain that owns the site, and MANAGERDOMAIN names a company that manages its monetization. Buyers match them with sellers.json files to trace the supply chain.
Common causes are the file being on www while your site uses the bare domain, a redirect to an HTML page, a 404, or the file being blocked by a security plugin. Open the exact URL in a browser and confirm it shows plain text.
Yes. Your publisher IDs are processed only in your browser and are never sent to a server. The checks cover format only, so always copy partner lines exactly as they provide them and confirm the status inside each ad platform.
