Organic CTR Calculator
A CTR calculator is a tool that measures how often people who see your result actually click it. The formula…
Estimate monthly organic clicks, conversions and value from keyword volumes and target rankings.
Positions between listed lines are interpolated. Use your own Search Console CTR by position for better estimates.

The free seo traffic forecast runs in your browser, needs no sign-up and never sends what you type anywhere.
An SEO traffic forecast multiplies each keyword's monthly search volume by the expected click through rate at its target position, then adds the results. For example, 2,400 searches at position 5 with a 6% CTR gives about 144 clicks a month. Treat every forecast as an estimate and use your own Search Console CTR data.
An SEO traffic forecast calculator is a tool that estimates future organic clicks. The formula is: estimated clicks = monthly searches × CTR at the target position ÷ 100, summed across keywords, then optionally × conversion rate × value per conversion.

Multiply each keyword's monthly searches by the CTR you expect at the target position and add them up: 3,600 searches at position 6 with a 4.5% CTR is about 162 clicks. For better accuracy, use clicks, impressions and position from the Search Console Performance report to build your own CTR curve instead of a generic one.
Forecasts are rough estimates, often off by a wide margin in either direction. Keyword volumes from tools are modelled, rankings are never guaranteed, SERP features such as AI Overviews and ads change click rates, and pages also rank for long tail queries you did not list. Present a forecast as a range and update it with real data each month.
In my experience most new SEO work takes about 3 to 6 months to show clear results, and competitive keywords can take longer. Google's SEO Starter Guide notes that some changes take a few hours to show and others several months. Build the forecast as a target for month 6 to 12, not for next month.
| Monthly searches | Target position | Assumed CTR | Est. clicks |
|---|---|---|---|
| 880 | 2 | 15% | 132 |
| 1,300 | 3 | 11% | 143 |
| 2,400 | 5 | 6% | 144 |
| 3,600 | 6 | 4.5% | 162 |
| 4,400 | 8 | 3% | 132 |
Example: the five default keywords have 12,580 monthly searches combined. At their target positions and the example CTR curve they bring about 713 clicks a month (132 + 143 + 144 + 162 + 132). With a 2% conversion rate that is about 14.3 leads, and at $150 per lead about $2,139 a month in estimated value.
The default curve is an editable example assumption, not Google data, and it matches the one in our CTR calculator. Replace it with your own CTR by position from Search Console, because click rates differ a lot by industry, brand strength and SERP features.
Use a keyword research tool such as Google Keyword Planner, Semrush or Ahrefs. All of them show modelled estimates, often rounded into ranges, so treat volumes as approximate and compare figures from more than one source for important keywords.
Yes. Add CTR lines for those positions, such as "20: 0.5", and the calculator interpolates between them. Positions beyond your last line count as zero clicks, which keeps forecasts for page two and three cautious.
Real traffic depends on many things a forecast cannot know: seasonal demand, AI Overviews, ads and maps above your result, title appeal and long tail queries. Compare forecast and actual clicks monthly and adjust your CTR assumptions.
Multiply estimated clicks by your conversion rate and then by the value of one conversion, such as average order value or lead value. Use figures from your own analytics and CRM, not industry averages, and label the result as an estimate.
No. A traffic value calculator estimates what the same clicks would cost as paid ads using CPC. This forecast estimates how many clicks and conversions your rankings could bring. Use both to judge whether an SEO project is worth it.
