JSON-LD code

Only use questions and answers that are visible on your page.

The FAQ schema generator is free, runs in your browser and needs no sign-up.

Quick answer

This free FAQ schema generator turns your questions and answers into valid FAQPage JSON-LD code you can paste into any page. Note that Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in 2026, so use the markup to describe real on-page FAQs clearly, not to win stars or dropdowns in search.

What is a FAQ schema generator?

An FAQ schema generator creates structured data in the schema.org FAQPage format, which describes questions and answers that appear on a page.

How do you use it?

  1. Type your first question and answer
  2. Click Add a question for more
  3. Copy the generated code
  4. Paste it into your page and test it in the Schema Markup Validator

Does Google still show FAQ rich results?

No. Google’s Google FAQ structured data page added a deprecation notice in May 2026 and states that the FAQ rich result is no longer shown in Google Search results.

Is FAQ schema still worth adding?

It no longer creates rich results in Google, but it is still valid schema.org markup that describes your content clearly. Only add it where the questions and answers are visible on the page.

Where should I put the JSON-LD code?

Paste it into the page’s head or body. Most WordPress SEO plugins also let you add schema without editing code.

Frequently asked questions

Is the generated code valid?

Yes. It follows the schema.org FAQPage format. Test it in the Schema Markup Validator.

Can I use HTML in answers?

Plain text is safest. Keep answers short and clear.

How many questions should I add?

Add the real questions that appear on your page, usually 3 to 10.

Will this help with AI search?

Clear visible answers help most. Google says no special schema is needed for AI features.

Does the tool store my questions?

No. Everything runs in your browser.

Can I add FAQ schema to every page?

Only add it where a real FAQ section is visible to visitors.
